Cast & Crew

Little Hearts tells the story of Akhil, played by Mouli Tanuj Prasanth, a student in a special coaching program who falls in love with a classmate named Khathyayani, played by Shivani Nagaram. Adding to the story and parental conflict is actor Rajeev Kanakala, who plays Gopal Rao, Akhil’s father and a government worker, who aspires for his son to move beyond the stable software job to becoming a composer.

The movie is written and directed by Sai Marthand, who has chosen a laid-back and carefree narrative style that combines sugar-coated romance, absurd situational comedy, and clever quips.

In the cast, there are supporting actors like, S.S. Kanchi, Satya Krishnan, Anitha Chowdary, Jai Krishna, and Nikhil Abburi, who help the lead actors portray the comedy and family drama within the family. Sinjith Yerramilli does the romance supporting songs with a youthful score, and is accompanied by Suriya Balaji, who does the cinematography as well as Sreedhar, who does the editing, to give the film a relaxed and smooth flow.

Where to Watch

Little Hearts received an initial release in theatres as an entertainer aimed at younger audiences, and with good word of mouth, the movie quickly became available on streaming services. Reasons to Watch

  • Brand new, youthful romantic comedy with a focus on teaching-center romance and the daily routine of school, the backdrop is relatable to any college and coaching student.
  • The leads, Mouli Tanuj Prasanth and Shivani Nagaram, are charming, and the chemistry is smooth with a few moments of sweet and awkward innocence, creating a love story that feels unforced and genuine.
  • The conflict in the story is deeper than a love story with the touchy father and high expectations placed on the boy, as in the father-son relationship between Gopal Rao and Akhil.
  • The energetic songs and background music by Sinjith Yerramilli that fits the mood quickly and boost the fun moments on campus and the sadder moments, mainly focusing on Akhil’s hopes and dreams of being a musician.
  • The light, nonsensical nature of the story with plenty of situational comedy and quirky supporting roles is sure to please people who like feel-good movies with less structure and more fun.
  • Accessible humor with a clean narrative makes this movie a pleasant experience for everyone.
